Hello,

You can try the following things:

a) Install the latest drivers for your motherboard and graphics card (most important).
b) Disable any programettings running in the background, such as anti-virus scanners (you can do this using the control panel).
c) Check for overheating.
d)Check out the minimum requirements for running the game.If the specs are to high for your PC then try to reduce the game settings:

* Reduce Texture details
* Reduce Shadows.
* Set graphics : to Low or Medium.

e)Sometimes new Pc comes with intergated GPU, there are not powerful for gaming, so better buy a good one.
f)In the case you are running Windows Vista with only 1GB of RAM , it will not be sufficient for gaming purposes... so better add some RAM..
g) Better have the latest version of DirectX installed.

Hi,

If I may add to Bionik's wise advice, you can also prevent some unnecessary applications to run from bootime from the background.

Download and run this simple tool. You will be able to identify them and stop them:

it's a laptop sony vaio e series VPCEA21EN ,and i think it doesn't have graphic card but it does have all other requirements fullfilled for a game to run successfully ,i have tried all the methods that u have suggested but it's not working.i have my laptop in warranty period.

apart from fifa 11 the problem too is associated with others game like prince of persia etc. this hasn't been the problem before.i enjoyed playing the same game for almost 5-6 months without any problem.

i have also installed startuplite.php ,but it couldn't find any useless program .

Amit,

I realized that your laptop has an Intel graphics card that is unfortunately done for the office, multimedia only

Play games like Fifa requires a certain power of the graphics card. However you can play games less demanding in graphics card and I recommend you to drop all game settings to low (resolution, texture etc. ..)

Regards.
