Is the webcam USB?

If so could you provide me with the make and model of your webcam?

If your webcam is installed as part of your laptop could you provide the make and model of your laptop.

If it's physically broken why do you need a driver?

Good point Ambucias ^^

I assumed he meant 'broken' in the sense that it is not working, hence the reason he is asking for a driver. Let's see what he comes back with :)

Hello there I am having the same problem as needo. I have recently formatted my computer and now my webcam doesnt work as there is no drivers for it. I'v searched relentlessly for the driver but I still cant find it. Iv tried going into the device manager and have it look for the driver but, once again, no luck. My computer has xp and the webcam is a proline pl-pvc 501b. This is driving me insane. I need my camera in order to do my job. Please help me. xxx
