Hi The_g,
Use Vlookup on your seperate worksheet, let it look for the month in the month column, then enter the relative column number in which "a different cell on the same row" is located.
If this is unclear then please provide a sample of how your sheets look like or upload a sample of your workbook using a site like www.speedyshare.com. Also re-explain what you would like to see happen in more detail for better understanding.
