Hello,
I am grateful for fixing the windows xp counterfeiting problem. i would wish to highlight another problem being faced by me. I have been facing problem while shutting down the system. It takes unusually long i.e. around three minutes for the shutdown window to appear once i have clicked on the shutdown button in start menu and once i confirm shutting down, it takes around five minutes before the system actually shuts down. i have tried using alt+ctrl+shift to see the status and end running programmes. it doesn't help. i would appreciate if someone can help me out with a solution.
regards
dicky

hi,
you may check the task manager by pressing Alt+Ctrl+Delete and close all programs that are running, remove any USB peripheral excluding the mouse and keyboard.
also try:
All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>Disk Cleanup or Disk Defragmentor
