Re-networking computer to laserjet printer

Hello,

I have an HP LaserJet 5000 DN printer networked to a computer using Windows XP.
Both have been working OK until the printer had to be taken away for a service.

Printer is back, and now I find that I cannot network the computer to the printer!!!!!!!!!!!

The printer has printed out a configuration print and the IP address is on it.
However the computer seems to have the same IP address......

Can someone help me on this please?

It's very frustrating especially when the computer and printer were networked OK before.

Hi!

Followed the instructions....... got the printer networked..........
But after printing about 15 pages, on the computer screen came up"could not find spooler".

Help!!
Really thought I had been successful, not to be.
Any thoughts on this matter?

Appreciate your advice.

how do i control person on a lan from deleting and chaging files and folder on the main system.do not want to turn computer into server
