Take off you side cover then reboot your system take a plastic pen or un sharpened pencil hold it against the side of your hard drive to see if there is alot of vibration/ The humming could be a bad bearing in a fan or bearings in the hard drive. Has you system ever been serviced to clean out the fans from dust and lint. Black Screen NO keyboard or mouse loud humming sounds like a bad hard drive.
