Cant seem to download antispyware programs

Hello,
I have detected some viruses in my laptop after upgrading my Java application. I am trying to download some anti spyware programs but even that seems impossible. I am using Windows XP.When my browswer searches via mozilla or google, it keeps being directed to unwanted sites/porn sites.Mcafee hasnt also detected any viruses in my system.Also, computer freezes sometimes so i have to totally have to just log off.
Please help me as i really desperate.

Great remember to use the immunize function on spybot search and destroy, it will make it harder for spyware to get in in the first place. And if you want to speed up your computer do a registry scan with this https://filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/ it will perk up your system to no end.

Try downloading chrome and see if it lasts long enough to download this https://www.safer-networking.org/download/ or download and save this and use a pendrive to add it to your computer, its the best free anti spyware program i have ever come across

Thank you so much for replying. I went to the mentioned website, but i dont see the name" chrome anti spyware" that u have requested me to download.
Would u be kind enough to give me the specific name of this anti spyware ... thank u so much

no chrome is a web browser by google, the link was to anti spyware software. i just thought if you were having browser trouble you could download it hoping it would last long enough to download the spyware software at the link. Forget about chrome if you can get to that link. Download the spyware at the link and it will solve your problems.

the anti spyware itself is called Spybot, search and destroy
