                    Flash Player does not work with 64bit Vista.  You should have two copies of Internet Explorer on your Vista desktop One of them should be a 32 bit version.  You must use this version with Adobe software. This is What Adobe says:

Flash Player is not supported for playback in a 64-bit browser.
However, you can run Flash Player in a 32-bit browser running on a
64-bit operating system.
Issue
Adobe is working on Flash Player support for 64-bit platforms as part
of our ongoing commitment to the cross-platform compatibility of
Flash Player. We have not yet announced timing or release dates.
Reason
To use Flash Player to view Flash content on a 64-bit operating
system, you must run a 32-bit browser.

                    First look for the 32 bit Internet Explorer version on your computer.  this is the version of Explorer you should always use.

Follow the onscreen instructions for downloading and double click the file after you have downloaded the program.
