Files getting corrupted on USB Pendrive

Hi

I recently purchased a kingston 16GB pendrive. The pen drive is properly detected by my computer and even shows the whole 16GB memory. However my problem starts now, whenever i move any file in the pen drive they move properly but when i try to open them i get an error that the files are corrupted. It happens with all files whether mp3, doc, xls, jpg etc.

Pls help me if there is any solution

i have already tried formting the pendrive but that didnt work is there any other way
