Hello,

I hope someone knows the answer:

I have simple table

Column A: item #
Column B: text

example:

Item # Text
2 text 1
2 text 2
2 text 3
2 text 4
5 text 1
5 text 2
5 text 1
5 text 2
5 text 3
5 text 4
5 text 5

I need todo the following on the same page or another page, it doesn't matter as long as the result is the following:

Item # Text
2 text 1 text 2 text 3 text 4
5 text 1 text 2 text 3 text 4 text 5

I hope this explains it.

Thank you for your help if anyone knows how to make it happen.

Can you data be like this too ?

Item#---Text
2---------text1
5---------text 4
2---------text 2
3---------text 1

2---------text 3
2---------text 4
5---------text 1
5---------text 2
5---------text 1
5---------text 2
5---------text 3
5---------text 5

In that case is sorting data a possibility ?

My question would be how many data you have and more specifically, how many different item #'s you have.

If there are not to many, Text to columns (found under the top menu Data) would be the easiest way.

Best regards,

Sorry, instead of Text to columns I had in mind Transpose. Which is an option of Paste special.
