Boot sequence not shown

Hello,

i want to format c: drive of my laptop but when i enter xp cd in CD rom and enter F12 key for boot, the boot sequence shows but CD rom not show.

but my cd rom work properly.

and i also try bios setup and disable hard disk and only show cd rom and restart the is that "no boot drive strik F1 or F2 key for setpup" like this..

in my laptop the Regedit.exe, Taskmanger and cmconfigration are not working or open.

kindly solved this problem

Hi,

Don't disable the HD in the BIOS just change the order of the boot (in the BIOS) so that the cd-dvd rom comes first. This way it will read from the cd first and know it has a HD so it can begging the setup, format or any other process that the is on the cd-dvd.
