Hello,

From where can I get English subtitles of a movie? I had one file of subtitles which I inserted with vlc player. the problem is that the voice is about 15 seconds before the subtitle apears., which is very confusing. Any help please?

Thanks.

Ok do this

https://ccm.net/download/download-4532-vobsub

Install it

Now make sure video and sub file has same name and are in same folder

for eg:

karatekid.avi

karatekid.srt

Thats all

ctrl+j and ctrl+h can be used for vlc player to adjust your subtitle delays but it may be a hard task if delays are too long

You can try out subtitles from different uploaders and just see if anyone matches.

Let me know the movie and from where did u download it

@Permalink (#2)

Hi the movie is ''Karate Kid [2010]. I downloaded it from Bjunkie. I got the subtitles from www.allsubs.org.

Do you know of any other good subtitles which match the voice please?

Thanks.

@ sundar7701 Wow! Both links are great... they work perfectly and the subs matches the talking. Thanks for your help. I only managed to play them with vlc player. Windows Media Player did not open the subtitles! Do I need to download some codecs?
Thanks again for your instant help.
