Hello,i have a dell a 8300 dimension 3.0 ghz cpu 1.5 gb ram 80 gb hdd 256 mb graphic card and i wanted to upgrade windows from xp xp3 to windows 7 and setup all completes and in welcome screen takes black screen there see only mouse cursor i lets it for 3 hours and nothing black pls help me ....i updated bios from A05 TO A07...i readed in some forums sata mode and no sata mode in my bios .... .pls help me ..

Hi,
Try formatting it from scratch rather than making direct upgrade form service pack 3 or try with another cd giving your feedback.
