Hi Alre,
Go to the display options under "Personalize" (Vista/7) or "Properties" (for XP) under the right-click menu on your desktop.
From here, select the monitor (your TV). It should be plugged in from before. Then tick the box saying "Extend the desktop onto this monitor"
