Avast uninstalled worked

Hello,
couldn't get my browsers to work after installing avast update, checked everything like above, did system restore - nothing.
When I uninstalled the whole Avast program, then the browsers starting working, reinstalled thte old avast. Now everything is good. Wow. So much trouble. Took me all morning. I don't get that much time off work!
