Putting a password to Flash Drive

Hello,
I just want only to know how can put a password to my flash drive that will works in windows xp and vista? I know that the other flash drive has a constant
program that will put a password to the drive, but my flash drive has no program to execute.
How can i put a password to my F.D. now? If there is any one who can help me with this would be great.
