Can't get lap top to connect to home network

Hello,

Everytime I bring my lap top home from school I can't get on the Internet in my house it says can't connect to network. When i trouble shoot the problems the only answer I get is that windows doesnt accept the security key phrase option. Thanks to anyone who can offer advice
