IPhone Not Being Recognized By Itunes

Hello,
I have a Iphone 3g and it says it needs to be restored so when i plug it into Itunes, Itunes will not recognized it says theirs nothing plugged in can anybody help me Plzzzzz

download the latest itunes software and install it it definately detects ur iphone
