Hello,
My external hard drive was working since I got it and I stored my work in it. today,I just plugged in my external harddrive will all my work!!!! to my computer and it said:
"Volume does not contain a recognized file system Please make sure that all required file system drivers are loaded and that the volume is not corrupt?
WHAT CAN I DO!!??! CAN I RECOVER THE FILES?? THANK YOU!

When I attemp to access, it says I have to format it...BUT IT HAS MY WORK...:'(

Hello,
Try this 1.
Right-click on your external drive --> Properties. If the "File System" is RAW, then
may be partition got damaged or corrupted.
Click on the below link and download the file.

Select the option "Damaged Partition Recovery". It will try to recover the data
from the damaged partition.
