Hello,
My case is a little complicated. I have 2 desktops (XP Pro) and I installed wireless adapters on both of them. Distance is about 35 meters between them. Comp.#1 is connected to internet without router. I don't need to share the internet connection. I just want to take control of comp#1 from comp#2 (explore documents, run programs..). I'v checked all alternatives of Windows XP regarding networking; there is no computer-to-computer connection without using a router. So, is there any possibility? perhaps I need some programs (MagicNet, WiPeer, ...)
Thank you!

Why don't you try the Windows-native Remote Desktop?

It is an easy way to access one computer from another on the same local network without the need to be connected to the Internet.
