Hello,

I have an HP Pavilionn laptop. Recently my wireless signal has been unreliable, cutting in and out. I thought it may be because it was unsecured and others were hogging the signal, so I tried to recreate one with a password. Long story short, I ended up removing preferred networks, removing the home group, to start fresh. But now I am unable to create a new wirless connection.
I pick up a full strength wireless signal that is name after my computer's profile, but it has a security key that I never created - so I don't know what it is.

How do I create a fresh connection to a wireless signal that is obviously operating fine. Have I tainted this signal altogether? orginally my kindle could access the signal, but now it is having same problem. What should I do?

You need to get onto your wireless router and reconfigure the security key.
