Question

someone stole my phone from my house i no who it is but have no proof i do not have the ime number i have the box that the phone was in along with the cd and case it has a ten digit number on the cd and the b0x what is this ten digit number? and is there any way i can get the ime number from this ten digit number or track down my phone.
