Hi themaizeandblue,
So you want to convert serial numbers to passwords.
What is the relation between the two?
How do you go from 45ABZW2BLS to E0DA2DD927?
Best regards,
Trowa

I don't know how it would go from one to the other. That's what I'm asking.
The only relation is that the serial number has 10 numbers and letters and the password that is generated also has 10. The serial number always starts with the same 5, but generates a 10 numbers and letters.
The example I gave is what an excel program generated as a password from that serial number.
I would think that there is some type of formula that is used to make that password be the same everytime that exact serial number is put into the program.
Thanks for your interest.

Sorry themaizeandblue, I'm not familiar with a formula that generates a random combination of letters and numbers based on a value.
And if it would be random, then the password will differ every time.
Best regards,
Trowa

Looking at your example, it is not really a creation of password. It is rather transformation of values like in classic manner
A =F. B=T , J =B etc
Is that's what you intent is ?
