Folder take long time to respond

Hello,
I have two computers one of them is a server computer and the other is a client or workstation >> I just share my folder on a server computer so the other one can access it and its contents >>
I notice that when I try to open a folder inside this shared folder it takes a long time to open not open quickly >>
and this get me errors since I run my program through this folder
