My browsers wont work

Hello, my computer is a hp elitebook but is blocked by my school. the iternet works but when i pull up google chrome and internet expleror they come up but its just a blank screen i looked on my status and my packets are low i heard you should turn off the updates but my school has blocked it what should i do?
