Cannot connect

Hello,
I have a brand new dell desktop hard wired to my router in a LAN port using I.E, I can ping local host, the router, yahoo.com, I can open my routers loggin page, I have no proxy's set, and not set to work off line. I have had my ISP break IP lease reset router to factory settings. I think it is an I.E. , any ideas would be helpful

If you think it might be an issue with IE try resetting all the IE settings back to default.

Open IE -> tools -> internet options -> advanced -> reset (make sure "delete personal settings" is NOT checked)

That will automatically clear up any issues with settings or add-ons causing problems.
