Installation DVD is not being recognize

Hello,
I bought a walmart toshiba satellite c655 laptop my son spilled coffe on keyboard I tried to save it but it would not let me. My husband friend swore up and down he knew computers ... he does but when he repaired my computer he put windows vista 32 bit in place of my 64 bit windows 7. I have an installation disk that a friend downloaded for me but its in a 64 bit and my laptop wont recognize it. Pls help me I want my old computer back!!!
pls pls help me!!!

Hello,

Try this 1

Make sure that first boot device is set to CD\DVD drive

First place the installation DVD in the drive --> Restart your laptop --> Go to

BIOS --> Set the first boot device as CD\DVD drive --> Save the settings and

exit from the BIOS.
