Trying to log-in to my email account and upon entering my email address, I get the message "Yahoo does not recognize this email".
I 'm using just my desktop, no mobile devices, no wifi. I cannot even access their "Sign-in Helper" with the recovery email.
I send an email to my yahoo address but I get a delivery 554 error, saying the "...message cannot be delivered. This mailbox is disabled (554.30)...".
The address is active, I do use it. I think I have ok-ed their "terms of use".
I 've seen the other similar questions on this forum and tried the above based on these recommendations. According to these answers, my account no longer exists?!? Just like this? Out of the blue?! And how can you tell???
I'm posting such a similar question again, in hope that something might have changed since then.
As you receive a message informing you that your account is disabled, try contacting Yahoo to find out more.
To contact them, go to this page. Select Account and enter your Yahoo email address. Next, select Contact a Yahoo specialist > Abuse and spam > Got a message my account is deactivated > Email a Yahoo specialist.
Hi, | have the same problem, but when I follow your order to select "got a message my account is deactivated" then back to the yahoo help main page, please can you tell me how to do? Many thanks
It still works for me. When you tried to send a message to your Yahoo email address, did you receive the message that your account is deactivated? If yes, try clearing your browser's cache and cookies.
