Recovery without the cd

Hello,
I cannot get my toshiba laptop booted, I have a disk read error and I press ctrl alt delete and the laptop does not do anything. I do not the recovery disk but I did turn off the laptop and press o key and i tried to do the recovery and now it gave me a error 08 128D 0000 do I need to contact toshiba for a recovery disk. I only had the computer since dec 2011.

a "disk read error" can not be fixed by a software recovery. You probably need a NEW hard disk and the Windows DVD to reinstall the operating system. You probably didn't create the recovery disks when the computer was new.

HEY FRIEND NOW U DONT ANYTHING GO TO MARKET AN BUY WIN 7 ULTIMATE &INSTALL IT FROM BOOT KEY F9 OR F10 OR F11 I HAVE ALSO LAPPI WITH WIN7 HOME BASIC ILOSE MY ORIGINAL WIN IHAVE RECOVEY DISCK BUT CRUSH BYE
