Numeric keys working as function keys

Hello,
I have Sony vaio laptop. When I press numeric keys its perform as function keys. ex : when press 1 key , internet help window open.
When press letter p , opens document saving window

I removed battery n restarted , restored to past day, check on safe mode still the the prob exist.
Tried with external keyboard its performed very well. but I only have prob when use my sony vaio laptop.

Could you please help me to sort this. Thank you...

I suspect you have a damaged or failing keyboard. Laptop keyboards often fail and are relatively easy to replace. You can often find replacement keyboards on Ebay and repair instruction can be found on Sony's web site.
