If I understand you correctly you are referring to installing the Audio Drivers for the Audio Card/Chip in the machine?
Assuming you have Window 7 Operating System in your machine, you can follow one of the three methods mentioned below:
1. Use Windows Update: If you have set Windows Update to automatically download and install recommended updates. This can update the sound card drivers.
2. Install software from the device manufacturer: For example, if your device came with a disc, that disc might contain software that installs a driver for the device.
3. Download and install the driver yourself: You can search for a driver on the manufacturer's website. Try this if Windows Update can't find a driver for your device and the device didn't come with software that installs a driver.
