                    Hi VCBALA,
As you have mentioned the issue is only with Windows Media player, try the following steps and see if this fixes the issue:
1. Start Windows Media Player.
2. Press the Alt key in the bottom row of the keyboard.
3. Click Tools>Options...
4. Click Devices tab.
5. Select Speakers and then click Properties.
6. From the dropdown box in the next window select the appropriate sound card.
7. Click Apply and then OK.
8. Finally click OK in the Options window.
Now you should be able to hear the sound in Windows Media player.
