Hello,

I have a problem with a usb flash drive, it works fine on win7 but it couldn't recognize it on win XP it is not accessible. The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error HELP

Try this HP format tool, it works with most pendrives except Transcend

You drive, to work on XP must be formated to XP.

I have tried to format it in win XP but I can't it has some problems and can't finish formatting, any other solution?

I have tried whit this program but it won't format it either, it noticed me that it is write protected if you got any other programs or solutions please send me, thanks a lot!

Now you tell me that it is write protected!

You must remove the protection.
