Hello,

I have a family members pc. Will not connect to any web site. I configured the pc to my internet provider which has 5 other pcs working from. I have researched this and have done the following....

1. Ran the trouble shoot for internet connection and it tells me "Windows could not automatically detect this networks's proxy settings".
--> Proxy server is unchecked in internet options
--> I reset Internet Explorer's settings to their default.
--> Ran Malwarebytes and no infeactions.
--> Ran netsh winsock reset
--> Ran netsh int ipv4 reset

--> Ran FSS and get....

Any ideas on what is happening....

I can ping by router but nothing outside..

I suggest that you go to the Network and Sharing Center and right-click on your network card and choose Disable. Then simply re-enable it and see if this fixes your problem.

Thanks for the reply.

I did that already. I also installed an USB wireless Wi-Fi adapter that works from another computer and still have same problem. I even bypassed the wireless and hard wired into router and still no hope.
