My computer cannot use browser but can go on skype

Hello,
i am posting this on my phone as my internet connection on the computer dosent work. But the wifi works as can connect to internet using phone and lapop but my computer cant use the browser but skype is connecting. How do i use the browser on my computer because there s connection btyhe browser keeps on saying no connection or page cannot be displayed
