Hi Taukahurangi,
Try the below mentioned steps and reply with the results:
1. Remove the battery and AC Adapter from the computer.
2. Press and hold the power button for 10-15 seconds and then release
3. Put the battery and AC Adapter back.
4. Press the Power Button and Check Power indicators.
5. Check if there is any sign of power.
6. Check if you hear any beeps.
In your reply please include the System Model Number of your Lenovo Laptop so that I can look for any specific troubleshooting steps.
