Hello,

I hope someone can help me! I have a long list of items in one column. next to each item I have to give certain values to some of them. The question is: how can I make a new list with only the items that have values assigned.

Thank you,

Is your new list on the same worksheet or a new worksheet?

Here is an example file. See if it works for you. I highlighted the cells where the data will appear in sheet 1 and sheet 2. Click the "Copy Values" button to run the macro. I also created a "Clear" button to clear the data if you want to run it a couple of times. The logic is, if there is a value in column B, then it will copy the values from columns A and B to the destination ranges. Hope this helps.

Hi, thanks for the example file. I see how it works. I have 2 comments. the clear button works only for a specific amount of items.
then, is it possile to do this without macros?

Thanks again.

The clear button was just coded to remove the contents for the example on the sheet, but it can be changed to any range of cells. Also, I added excel formulas in columns N and O to give you an idea of what you could use instead of a macro.
