Problem with nfs undecover

Hello,
i am salman here i have a problem while installing nfs undercover
i have all nacessary requirements such as 2.00gb ram,250gb hard disk,nvidia geforce 7300gt graphic card,2.2ghz(pentium 4),windows xp
with all these when i install the game its showing this message "d3dx9_34.dll failed to install, re-installing this application may fix this problem "
this is the problem, please help me out to overcome this and also mention the necessary requirements if not mentioned above

hi,
if it could not install the file, it may be that the installation disk is faulty.
try to use another disk to install the game.
or you may clean the cd from all dirt and then try again.
