Hello,
I had to erase my hard drive with my recovery disk. from Toshiba . repair system said my laptop could not be repaired. so i clicked yes to erase hard drive. but when i now try to do part two and set to default i keep getting a bootmgr is missing . my laptop wont do a thing to reboot. i cant get past this message and the second cd wont even do anything.

well if you reformatted the hard drive then the bootmgr will be missing! If you still want to try to erase the drive then a program called "Killdisk" can do it (if the PC is still functioning). Just Google Killdisk for a download location.

Good Luck
