Hello,
I have a windows xp system [sp3] and it is working quite fine apart from one thing.
When I switch on the computer, the only way I can get to log in is if I keep F1 pressed down while switching it on, otherwise, the screen says 'BOOT FROM CD' and doesn't go any further.
Can anyone help me to bypass this screen automatically?

It sounds like you have changed the BIOS boot order to first boot from the CD drive. Google "BIOS boot order" to find instructions.
Good Luck
