Dvd can not read the data

Hello, i am now using sony dvd rw aw-g170a in xp it does not read some disks, if i select the dvd drive it simply show the 'zero' read (0 read)but i format the os and then i install vista it reads the all disks ,please any one can help me anybody having sony dvd rw aw-g170a driver web site ,where i get latest sony dvd rw aw-g170a driver software.

hi,
if it does not play some CDs, this means that the CDs may be scratched or dirty.
try to clean them efore inserting them in the drive.

Lucas i appreciate what you said but the problem goes with dvds..Nero has no confliction or any burner..i downloaded a program and got it's serial purchased named Registry Booster..it does not shows any conflict with the dvd and other programs..so what's next dude?
