Help plz,MY webcam just wont work.

Hello, i just got here and i hope its worth it. plz how do i install my webcam. it just wont work,saying i need a video software,i got VideoLAN yet its saying same thing. someone help plz. SOS

Hello,

Try this 1

Make sure that you have installed the drivers correctly. Go to your webcam

manufacture's website, download the drivers and install it.

OR

Let us know your webcam brand name and model number

This worked for me. Shut down laptop. Remove battery. Hold down power button for 10 seconds. Insert battery. Turn on power. Go to device manager, Imaging Devices should be there.
