Hi kunu das,
Kindly, check if you have the following applications installed in your computer before you can use the Webcam:
1. HP Universal Camera Driver
2. ArcSoft Webcam Sharing Manager
If not kindly download and install the same from the below mentioned link:

Note: I have suggested this link after searching HP-website for with the description of the System Model (hp probook 4420s) you provided. Please select the appropriate model from the above link before downloading.
Once you have installed the two applications, you will be able to use your webcam with video chatting and video capturing applications.
