My dell laptop failing to install operating system

Hello,


i have a dell laptop in which there was a windows 7 operating systm then it started showing that operating system not found then i removed the hard disc and put it again but to no avail. i formated it and it is now telling me that WINDOWS CANNOT BE INATALLED TO THIS DISC PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT THE DISC CONTROLLER IS ENABLED IN BIOS MENU. so help me please.

Hi,

You may receive this message if the Hard Drive options are not properly set in the BIOS. Try loading the BIOS Defaults by hitting the F2 key when initial Dell Logo comes up on startup and then press the F9 key when the BIOS menu appears, then Save and Exit. If the problem is not fixed please reply with the exact System Model Number of your Dell Laptop.
