Remove write protection

i want to format my USB but at the time of formatting it shows that the disk was write protected .pl tell me how to remove write protection. i could not able to open my pen drive and it shows that you have to formate your pen drive before use.

Hello,

Try this 1

1) First go to your pen drive manufacture's website and check if there is any

format utility for your pen drive and then try formatting with it.

OR

Try formatting your pen drive using the "HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool".

Click on the below link and download the file.

2) Try to format your pen drive from "Disk Management".

Click on Start --> Run --> Type diskmgmt.msc and press Enter.

"Disk Management" will be opened.

Now right-click on your "Pen drive" drive letter and select format --> Click on OK.
