Hi thehun,
Some pen drives come with a read-write lock which can make the pen drive write protected. Please check if your pen drive has such a lock. If it doesn't have a lock and still write protected, check in another computer if it works. Also try the fix provided in the below mentioned link:
https://ccm.net/faq/4214-how-to-disable-write-protection-on-a-usb-key
