Hello,

Which software do I need to make a pc work after a crash or windows won't start please? I couldn't make my laptop with windows 7 start last time. I had to call my technician and neither did he manage... at least in front of me. He then took my laptop for 3 days and he managed with some software to start it. He managed to backup all my data and gave it back to me. When I asked how did he manage, he only told me that he used a software but did not tell me which! :(

There is bunch of utilities both free and paid that could help your PC restoring after crash or startup failure like one from Microsoft entitled 'System Repair Disc'.

There is an inbuilt utility that you could use to troubleshoot any minor or major PC errors by using system recovery options. Continuously press F8 just after starting your PC and select Advanced Startup Options from there.

You'll be taken to the system recovery options where you could choose to repair system, run memory diagnostic test, system image recovery etc.
