Ms-word asks for converter

Hello,

I have some Ms-word files of 2003..But every time upload the system with Vista i cannot read my saved word documents..it continusely asks for a converter..! Now what is this converter and can i view my important word documesnts as usual when ever i upload vista on it...Please sugget immediately..!

Microsoft changed the file formats each time they did a major upgrade. So you need a converter to read Word 2007 documents with Word 2003. You can also save the document in Word 2007 as a Word 2003 type file. Go to this Microsoft site for the converter http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/word/HA100444731033.aspx Good Lock
