Installation of win xp on vista based CQ40

Hello,
someone please tell me how to install win xp on the vista based CQ40 compaq laptop. When I try to install win xp it gives error massage "drver is pre installed", then installation get stopped. Also tell me the links for download the xp drivers of the same model

I want to a Vista base compaq CQ40 laptop but I want to upgrate windows xps2

and not upgrate xps2 and give massage not find hard disk and stop error

so I request you to give me solution

try loding XP Service pack 3 your problem will be solved

still you want to load XP service pack 2 you can do by using XP service pack 3

hey man u can't install xp on this serice lapy.
if u want this u should creck your BIOS version......
by the way how r u santosh.......network admin........??

The Important Point is drivers system. You would contact with Hp service.
May be they could help you.
