Facebook/Youtube wont load without VPN

I have been in China the past year and used a VPN (Astrill) to access facebook and youtube since China doesn't allow those websites. Once I came back to the US, facebook and youtube wont work without using my vpn. I get an error as if the internet isnt even connected. I have tried IE, Firefox and Chrome-all the same. I have read many forums but nothing has helped. I have pinged facebook and youtube and it keeps saying "request timed out". All other websites work, and I dont think it is my router (as other computers work on the same home network), it has to be something with my computer settings. I have tried turning off my firewall and Kaspersky antivirus and still all the same. I have also tried https:// and that doesnt work either. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
